Upgraded to D70

Sony P900

Hi All,
I have now upgraded to a Nikon D70 with the AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5G ED lens.
Ill post some photos up soon but at the moment i am using it in RAW mode to see what can be done! 
My Nikon Coolpix E5700 is now relagated to being a back up.

P800 dead

Hi all, sorry I have been offline for a while as my P800 died on me after it got hit by a sot of the wet stuff, luckily, my insurance company ahs supplied me with a new photo phone a P900, so "I am back"

Double Rainbow

This photo of a double Rainbow was taken with the Sony Ericson P900, the image quality dose not seem to be as good as the P800.
A briliant time was had that went up to the Cludies site, it rained a lot but this did not deter any one from having fun and err.. BEER!

Down in the "smoke" today on an erran so I took the camera London always has something to take a picture of on every street. I even found a helicopter in a posh zone of the city! well thats London for you!

I realy dont know why they want to keep this bus station, it's in bad state of repair badly, designed and has had quite a few nasty muggings due to all the hidding spots for the awaiting muggers. There are some campaigning to keep it. I personaly would like to see it go!

Why I started bloging
|
|
As a photographer I take a lot of pictures, my interests are very varied so it comes as no surprise that I like to show them to other people. I was initially inspired by Tash http://tash.gn.apc.org another snapper.
I have lots of ways of taking pictures a Nikon E5700 is my main tool now, although I used to have a Nikon F4s but it kept breaking down and digital is so much easier. I also use my video camera a Sony PC 120 and my mobile phone a Sony Ericsson P800.
These days I tend to cover protests and demonstrations of all kinds and publish my work on http://indymedia.org.uk
